Aromatic Herbalism emphasizes sustainable, hands-on practices that celebrates aromatic plants' wisdom and their ability to thrive for generations if we can learn how to work with them mindfully. In this course, we’ll craft remedies that reflect the beauty of the complex and beautiful aromas of these special green allies. We will craft infusions, floral waters, aromatic oils, herbal steams, make incense, create sacred smoke blends, anointing oils, and much much more.
You’ll uncover the quiet brilliance of aromatic plants—their chemistry, their spirit, and the unique aromatic compounds that they create to communicate with its ecosystem and flourish in the natural world. In this foundational program, you learn to grow and harvest aromatic herbs with intention, creating remedies for ritual use, beauty care, purification and vitality such as steams, salts, sugar scrubs, foot soaks, ritual baths and supportive oils and salves of variety. Rooted in the rich traditions of folk medicine, this course connects you to recipes passed through generations, weaving their wisdom into your hands and heart.

This 9-month immersive live course provides a solid and in-depth introduction to Aromatherapy, with a focus on the proper use of essential oils and aromatics, including safe dilutions and considerations for sensitive skin, allergy-prone individuals, children, and pets. We will highlight the importance of crafting with intention, balancing the therapeutic properties of aromatics with a deep respect for their natural origins and sustainability.
You’ll discover how to grow your own aromatic herbs and learn how to weave them into your daily life for holistic well-being.
Each session will immerse you deeply in the world of three aromatics and including wild local aromatic plants and trees. We will be taking a very deep dive into each aromatic guiding you through their rich histories, medicinal benefits, and practical uses. From the ancient wisdom of aromatic plants to their modern-day applications, you’ll gain a tactile and sensory understanding of how to incorporate these powerful plants into your daily life.
